Getting Started
Navigate to the Dashboard, click "Upload" in the sidebar, then drag and drop your PDF, DOCX, or PPTX file. The system will automatically process and index your document for AI features.
NeuraNote supports PDF, DOCX, PPTX, TXT files for document upload, and MP3, MP4, WAV for audio/video transcription. Maximum file size is 50MB on Free plan, 100MB on Pro/Unlimited.
The AI Editor is a powerful Lexical-based editor with built-in AI assistance. Type "/" to access AI commands, select text to transform it, or use the AI Assist button for smart suggestions—all grounded in your uploaded materials.

Yes! Pro and Unlimited users can export notes to PDF and Markdown. Unlimited users also get Anki and Notion export capabilities for seamless integration with your existing workflow.
AI & Technology
NeuraNote uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to ensure all AI responses are grounded in your actual study materials. Every answer includes citations, and we prioritize accuracy over speed—if we can't cite a source, we'll tell you.
No. Your study materials and documents never train external AI models. We use OpenAI and other services only for inference (generating responses), and your content remains private and secure.
RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) combines vector search with large language models. When you ask a question, we first retrieve relevant passages from your documents, then use AI to generate accurate, cited responses based on that context.
